In the Netherlands, where more than 2200 employees are based, we are located in four cities: Huizen, Delft, Eindhoven and Hengelo (HQ). Together with an extensive ecosystem of knowledge partners, customers and suppliers, we work on radars for naval vessels, cyber security solutions, transportation systems, communication equipment for land forces, cryogenic cooling solutions and research & development for radar tech (in collaboration with TU Delft).
The assignment is done as part of the Electro-Optical (EO) team in the System Engineering department. The EO-team is responsible for analyzing customer requirements regarding EO-systems and translate these to product requirements and functions. In addition, the team is involved with the necessary R&D activities to meet these requirements.
About the assignment
In earlier projects we have researched some deep learning based approaches to real-time video data processing, in particular semantic segmentation, re-identification and classification. We now want to integrate this in a demonstrator application to explore and experiment with ways of integrating the deep learning based processing with our existing real-time video processing.
The assignment can be tailored depending on your field of study and interests, and thus it can be either more research-oriented or more implementation-oriented.
You have to think about how to integrate and combine deep learning based processing with our traditional processing algorithms and how to visualize the results together so it is understandable for human operators without technical knowledge of the used algorithms.
This assignment is also suitable for a team of two students.
