PROFILE:
You graduated with a Master of Engineering, Computer Science or any other relevant field in University, and you have significant experience in team management
You are a leader willing to engage and develop your team through the use of collaborative work and challenging approaches
You love to share knowledge and help people develop themselves, which enables you to be recognised as a great mentor and team-player
You are responsible and show a great sense of initiative

You have substantial knowledge of R-A-M-T & Safety:
You master R-A-M-T engineering tools and methods (Functional analysis, Reliability model, FMECA, FTA, Availability model...), which enables you to perform R-A-M-T studies, thus assess availability, reliability compliance, and analyse failure modes
You understand the entire product lifecycle on the basis of your in-depth knowledge of the relevant norms, standards, regulations and guidelines
You demonstrate a strong desire for continuous improvement and a capacity to develop a strategic vision: you are able to integrate and even anticipate the various elements of your environment in order to guide the team through the challenges prompted by competitiveness
You know how to adopt a Lean Management approach and apply Agile principles to the management and development of your team, in Scrum and / or Kanban mode
LIFE AS A THALES SAFETY, CERTIFICATION & R-A-M-T - DISCIPLINE MANAGEMENT ROLE
As a Safety, Certification & R-A-M-T - Discipline Management Role within Thales, you will:
Take in charge the Practices and Tools tailoring and deployment (incl. digitalisation, automation, data management) across Projects and Products
Be responsible for the adoption of new technologies
Ensure the capitalisation and sharing of knowledge and assets (building blocks, cost estimating models, best practices, etc.)
Foster continuous improvement based on root cause analysis, problem solving, new practice deployment, …
Manage people within your discipline and ensure their development (skills management, coaching, career development, mind-set), the adequacy with the expected needs (quality and quantity) at the right time and the allocation to the Bids and Projects
Perform technical reviews associated with your discipline on Bids/Products and Projects
Ensure Operational Subject Matter Experts allocate part of their time to coach engineering people and to train people about the R-A-M-T & Safety activities
