In this position you will join the Thales Netherlands IS/IT team. IS/IT is at the core of the Thales digital transformation, there is a close relationship between IS/IT and business.
With a team of 125+ colleagues we provide IS/IT support to our 2500 NL colleagues in several Business Lines and functions. The IS/IT department of Thales Netherlands works closely together with the international IS/IT departments of the Thales group.

About the job
As a Scrum Master you are responsible for two Agile squads. You will help the squads to focus on achieving their goals. You motivate the squad members, facilitate the Agile process and communicate with the stakeholders of the squads. You ensure that nothing stands in the way of the squads to be able to perform professionally and deliver thorough work. You are a passionate ambassador of the Agile principles. You are responsible for:
- Coaching the squad members so that nothing stands in their way to perform.
- Optimizing the squads by, among other things, organizing retrospectives and facilitating other agile meetings.
- Clearing larger obstacles for the squad members.
- You are in close contact with the two Product Owners of the squads and you maintain contact with other Scrum Masters and the Agile community within the department.
About you

The Scrum Master is expected to have:
- A completed HBO or WO education (such as a study [Technical] Business Administration, Computer Science or Electrical Engineering).
- (Proven) experience with Agile methodologies (certified scrum master) and also know how to propagate this to others.
- The capability to facilitate, motivate and coach Agile squads and thereby the drive to optimize teams.
- Affinity and/or background in Engineering, IT, application management and/or run support.
- You have strong communication and social skills.
- A result and solution oriented mindset; a real go-getter.
- Furthermore, as a Scrum Master you are:
- Strong in quality assurance and you have a customer-oriented attitude.
- Fluent in Dutch and English (both written and oral)
