Our Thales Netherlands IS/IT team works at the core of the Thales digital transformation. It is positioned between our IS/IT and business departments. With a team of 100+ colleagues we provide IS/IT support to our 2500 Dutch colleagues in several Business Lines and functions. We also work closely together with the international IS/IT departments of the Thales Group. Our mission? Providing secure access to Thales information in one click, while feeling proud together. About your future job
Your mission is to improve the overall performance of our department together with the Leadership Team. This encompasses improvement projects along all department-wide, strategic topics, such as Project & Project Portfolio Management; Cost, Performance & Value Management; Process Management & HR Management.
You are the eyes and ears of the department and are very organizationally aware. From this perspective you are able to advise & support the Leadership Team. Do you keep a birds eye view and do you not get lost in details? Do you have a broad interest and are you eager to learn new things? Do you want to work with a multidisciplinary team of enthusiastic and driven professionals and improve different fields of our department? Then we are looking for you!
The CIO Office is part of the Extended Leadership Team and the strategic partner of the IS/IT department, responsible for strategic, team exceeding topics. Next to the topics mentioned above, we are also responsible for Enterprise Architecture & Agile Transformation. Your role in the CIO office entails the following:
- You observe and analyze the performance of our department and advise the Leadership Team on improvement opportunities
- You take on improvement projects in the different areas where the CIO Office operates. Depending on the size of the project you work on it by yourself (with support from the team), or as a project manager with a small team
- You maintain a connection with Thales group, introducing the Group best practices to NL
- You incidentally coordinate a demand project yourself as Project Manager
Why you'd be a good match:
- you have a higher education degree (Bachelor or Master);
- you have affinity with the fields Project Portfolio Management, Cost, Performance & Value Management, Process Management & HR Management;
- you have experience in project management (IPMA or PSPO certification is a plus);
- you talk on different levels within the organization and have proven experience with stakeholder management;
- you are analytical and able to see the bigger picture;
- you have excellent verbal and written communication skills in Dutch & English
